Here is what you need to know about the role, our team and why we could be the right next step in your career.Your ResponsibilitiesEnsure excellent patient service and lift administrative and basic dental tasks off the Dentist's shoulders.Prepare the surgical area, instruments, and equipment before each procedure.Assist the surgeon during procedures by anticipating the surgeon's needs and assisting as required.Keep surgical areas and instruments clean and sterilized.Monitor and record patient vitals and ensure patient comfort and safety.Prepare and provide post-operative instructions and materials to patients.Help maintain inventory and order supplies as needed.Perform other duties as assigned by the surgeon or office manager.As one of the essential members of our office, you will also help to facilitate/coordinate other office responsibilities as needed.Your BackgroundAt least 1-2 years of experience as a surgical assistant, specialty preferred.Knowledge of dental instruments and sterilization methods.Understanding of health safety regulations.Ability to perform regulated non-surgical tasks.Excellent communication and people skills.A strong attention to detail.Well-organized and reliable.A high school diploma.A certificate from an accredited surgical assistant program (if required by law).An active state radiology license (if required by law).If this sounds like you, you will fit right in with the team!Why You Should Join Our TeamA career with us is a chance to work with everyone involved in the future of Specialty dental care.
