No Offer Description : Support for the development of systems and algorithms for the acquisition and processing of Radar data, and the revision, consolidation and improvement of existing models for the description of the electromagnetic backscattering from surfaces and the volume propagation that characterizes the first meters of the subsoil, in scenarios with characteristics similar to those assumed for Saturn's moon Enceladus, with particular emphasis on the role that these models play in predicting the degree of coherence of the phase differences (interferograms) of repeat-pass Radar images. Minimum Qualifications : Degree in Electronic Engineering, Telecommunications Engineering, Computer Engineering, Environmental and Territorial Engineering, Physics or Mathematics obtained in accordance with the legislation in force prior to the Ministerial Decree 509 / 99, or Specialist / Master's Degree (Ministerial Decree of May 5, 2004), with a professional curriculum suitable for carrying out research activities and a PhD degree with a minimum duration of three years in scientific disciplines relevant to the research topic covered by the announcement. All qualifications obtained abroad (university degree, doctorate and any other qualifications) must be recognized in Italy according to the legislation in force on the subject. The equivalence of the aforementioned qualifications obtained abroad that have not already been recognized in Italy will be evaluated by the selection board established pursuant to art. 6, paragraph 1 of the Regulations commission. Documented experience of at least two years in the field topic referred to in the art. 1, and declared according to the methods set out in the art. 4, at least in one of the following areas : Signal analysis Electromagnetic modeling Knowledge of the English language is required.
