About the Position: Incumbent performs a variety of Item Manager, Stock Control Manager, and Distribution Management duties for Supply Support. Provides analytical expertise to resolve deviations from normal supply transactions, and conducts extensive research to resolve problems occurring from clerical, program/information system, and other errors. Must be able to handle sensitive items (to include weapons), and to ensure proper care, storage, and transport of hazardous materials.

For the GS-07 Specialized experience is defined as: One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-06 grade level in the Federal service performing a variety of Item Manager, Contract Administrator, Stock Control Manager and Distribution Management duties on controlled cryptographic items (CCI), sensitive items (to include weapons), resolving deviations from normal supply transactions, and conducting extensive research to resolve problems occurring from clerical, program/information system, and other errors, ensuring proper care, storage, and transport of hazardous materials. This is the definition of specialized experience typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level (GS-06).
