As** Category Supply Planner**, you will become part of the Above Market Supply Planning Team (ATM).
In this position, you will directly report to NDG Supply Lead for Coffees EUR while keeping very strong connectivity with the Coffee DSP team and category in Italian Market, where the position and the IT team is based.
You will have an opportunity to make the difference by leveraging supply planning capabilities, to ensure service and preserve costs/freshness, while collaborating in dynamic environment, and supporting Category and Market business objectives.
**Position Summary**
This role is responsible to manage the overall Coffee supply portfolio (Portioned NDG-SBUX, Nescafé, Orzoro) sold in different retail channels.
Stock is produced in several EUR affiliates and imported to the market.
As supply planner in the market, you will be responsible to manage the optimal stock levels of our main Distribution centers to fulfill forecasted demand.
The role participates in ATM, but particularly fully integrated into the local Supply Chain daily business and projects, driving savings and efficiencies improvements.
**A day in the life**
Acts as a single point of contact for Supply topics for the Market:
- Establish the supply plan and net dispatch requirements for IT Receiving Market to ensure Customer Service, On Shelf availability and customer/consumer satisfaction
- Ensures supply & availability of products to fulfil deliveries on time, at the right place with the correct freshness, while trying to minimize Working Capital and Total Delivered Cost and attacking e2e Extended bad goods with projects aiming at this area.
- Establishes and periodically reviews stock policies for Coffee Finished Goods using the right tools and processes with the affiliates production planners.
- Monitor Demand Plan trends and challenge Italian Demand Planner colleagues to improve Demand Planning Accuracy and Bias, by working closely to manage shared objectives (eg.
COF, on time availability to grasp commercial opportunities, DPA etc)
- Analyze exceptions, take business decisions within agreed Framework (based on priorities or after arbitration and product allocation) and adjust planning results accordingly
- Provides Generating Demand teams (e.g.
Marketing, Trade marketing, Sales) with inputs regarding stock availability and/or ad hoc activations and exceptions that may impact business performance
- Drives fast, appropriate actions to minimize the impact of supply risks -shortages and excess stocks
- and communicate the actions to the respective Stakeholders and Supply Chain teams
- Contributes to I&R projects with flawless planning and execution of Supply Planning tasks
- Actively participates in COFFEES EUROPE DSP and Nestlé Italy DSP focused meetings WOR/MOR/OPDSR activities to support business results at Europe and Market level with close support to IT SC copilot

- University Degree in Engineering / Economics / Statistics or any other related field and MBA / MSc in Business or other related discipline
- Minimum 2 years of Experience in Supply Chain/Operations, ideally in FMCG
