Supply Chain Specialist Ii

The Supply Chain Specialist will be the main point of contact for the assigned Customers for supply chain related topics.
Supervision of the completion of the main steps to guarantee product manufacturing, release and delivery according to customers' demand.What will you do?Handle Customer demand - Receive forecast and purchase orders, make evaluations, monitor trends & variations and promptly discuss them with Planning department; keep SAP system updated with current information; create & update reports Coordinate internal Functions based on Customer requests in order to meet On Time Delivery; take part in daily Business unit meetings; monitor production and laboratory activities and provide Customers with updates on timelinesArrange and monitor inbound and outbound shipments of Customer material; coordinate warehouse schedule; prepare shipping documents; collaborate with couriers & freight forwardersIssue invoices upon completion of products and servicesBe proactive in answering Customer requests after alignment with internal functions such as Finance, Quality Operations, Business Management & ProductionHow will you get here?Bachelor's degree or Equivalent EducationMinimum of 2 years of experience either in Pharmaceutical Industry or in Supply Chain/LogisticsGood knowledge of Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook)Proficient in EnglishExperience with SAP is considered a plusWhat we offer:Employment with an innovative organisationOutstanding career and development prospectsCompany pension scheme and other fringe benefitsExciting company culture which stands for integrity, intensity, involvement and innovationThis is an equal opportunity employer: here in Thermo Fisher celebrates diversity and it is committed to crafting an inclusive environment for all employees!
