Supply Chain Specialist / Buyer - External Services

Overview / Responsibilities:
Wood is currently recruiting for a Supply Chain Specialist / Buyer of external services and indirect orders responsible for execution of purchasing activities in Milan office.
Duties specifically related to the function are the following:
- Formalization and issue of Purchase Orders (Oil & gas and Pharma Contracts) and following Amendments
- Maintaining of order lists
- Expediting of Purchase Order acceptance by Vendors
- Elaboration of statistics dates for estimating costs
- Collaboration with Human Resource in issuing interim Temporary Agency Contracts
- Organizing and maintaining computerized records containing vendor and bid information
- Communication with vendors
Skills / Qualifications:
- Good knowledge in English and fluent in Italian
- Good communication, planning and organizational skills
- Pro-active approach in resolving issues
- Familiar with Office tool
