Careers that Change LivesThis position is an exciting and new opportunity to work with Medtronic's Acute Care and Monitoring (ACM) business.Do you want to be part of a team who build out our lean manufacturing processes for our medical devices?This is an exciting opportunity for you if you are an experienced Supply Chain Planning Manager interested in working in a fast paced manufacturing environment.You will participate directly in build new manufacturing processes development, implementation and qualification of production equipment and methods, generate testing protocols and reports.The ACM Group develops life-restoring therapies and healthcare solutions that span the care continuum.Our plant (Mallinckrodt DAR) in Mirandola, is part of EMEA region.We serve our ACM Operating Unit to deliver solutions and products that prevent the onset and improve the management of respiratory failure.A Day in the Life• Performing supply chain functions such as material procurement, production planning, inventory control.• Creating integrated processes among internal functions (e.g., operations, planning, purchasing and logistics) and outside suppliers.• Planning and analysing activities related to the timely, cost-effective procurement, inventory control, and planning of production materials.• Developing, implementing, and maintaining policies, procedures, and material control systems to reduce costs, streamline procedures, and implementing solutions.• Supervising the raw material supply in order to guarantee production continuity and the minimum safety stock level.• Supervising the production schedule of components, semi finished goods and finished goods in order to meet net requirements (forecasts) and service targets (NRA, PA%, Backorder).• Working with Global Supply Chain Demand & Supply Planning teams and Logistics Planners in order to define and validate annual production volumes.• Supporting continuous improvement initiatives and identifying areas of improvement.• Meeting financials objectives: inventory level (plant and WW), free cash flow, MPE (PPV).• Implementing and ensure compliance with Corporate Policy.• Managing End Of Life materials working with external suppliers and internal functions (sustaining and engineering).• Creating periodic reports regarding main KPIs, projects and activities in order to update internal and external functions within the Organizations.• Supervising team's daily activities, motivate and engage people.• Evaluating people performance, identifying focus areas for professional & personal development.• Promoting hiring, firing, promotion and reward within own area.Must Haves• Education: Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain or Business; preferred Masters in Supply Chain or Business Management• Experience: Minimum of 3 to 6 years' management experience and in materials planning ideally in the Medical Technology or Manufacturing environment• Good communication Skills• Strong understanding of Supply Chain Planning processes• Strong IT systems knowledge, including advanced Excel skills• Knowledge and experience of MRP (Material Requirements Planning) systems• Fluent in EnglishNice to Haves• Knowledge of lean and 6 sigma tools• Project management capabilities• APICS, PMI certificationWe OfferWe offer a competitive salary and benefits package to all our employees:• Flexible working environment• Annual Incentive Plan % depending on company and own results• Pension scheme and group discount on healthcare insurance • Training possibilities via Cornerstone/Skills Lab• Employee Assistance Program and Recognize!(our global recognition program)Our CommitmentOur unwavering commitment to inclusion, diversity, and equity (ID&E) means zero barriers to opportunity within Medtronic and a culture where all employees belong, are respected, and feel valued for who they are and the life experiences they contribute.We know equity starts beyond our workplace, and we must play a role in addressing systemic inequities in our communities if we hope to have long-term sustainable impact.Anchored in our Mission, we continue to drive ID&E forward both to enhance the well-being of Medtronic employees and to accelerate innovation that brings our lifesaving technologies to more people in more places around the world.
