Supply Chain Manager
Role Overview:
Huntsman Corporation's Tecnoelastomeri site is searching for an experienced Supply Chain Manager. The site located in Cavazzona (Castelfranco Emilia, Modena) serves the market globally as a strong PU hot-cast manufacturer. The site has 3 production lines: chemicals (MDI prepolymers & formulated polyols), casting machines, and molded parts. The Supply Chain Manager develops and continuously improves the Strategic Supply Chain model and organization focusing on the following main areas: Purchasing, Inventory Management, Planning, Logistics, and Site Warehousing. The person in this role works closely with other functions such as Manufacturing, Finance, Customer Service, and Sales to meet and support key business objectives and to drive value-based decision-making.

Role Responsibilities:
As a Supply Chain Manager, you will be responsible for:
Ensuring that all activities in his/her responsibility are in compliance with regulatory and Huntsman EHS standards & procedures.
Managing the procurement of raw materials, equipment, goods, and services, and the overall management of suppliers. This includes carrying out strategic procurement activities on different expenditure categories, searching for solutions with the best total cost for the company, and identifying optimal suppliers to reach the best product and service quality.
Overseeing inventory management, ensuring implementation of the organization/process in place, inventory count, and fulfillment of customer needs at optimal cost and working capital. This includes planning stock point replenishments based on sales forecasts and/or customer orders ensuring that inventory is optimized on a regular basis to drive continuous reduction without impacting supply chain performance.
Managing all aspects of planning for standard production to ensure timely delivery of products and contributing to new business projects, both in the phase of indirect purchase and in the development of strategies for planning and purchasing new direct materials.
Managing the logistics function (currently done by a third-party supplier) and site warehousing to ensure smooth processes between Manufacturing and Customer Care.
Ensuring master data accuracy, correctness, and completeness.
Implementing and overseeing KPIs to drive continuous improvement (e.g., OTIF, inventory, slow-moving).
Ensuring that all activities follow Huntsman Internal Audit procedures and standards.
Managing direct reports to deliver appropriate execution of the supply chain organization and career development plan.
Experience and Competencies:
We are looking for experienced candidates with excellent communication skills and a solution-focused approach.
What we are looking for:
Successfully completed University Degree in Engineering or Economics (preferably).
10 years of working experience in Supply Chain and at least 3 years in a managerial role.
Fluency in Italian and English is a must.
Excellent knowledge of bill of materials, working cycles, and inventory management.
Excellent knowledge of ERP/MRP software and other IT tools (Office, etc.).
Experience in supplier management and negotiations.
Experience in logistics management.
Overall good understanding of P&L, Balance Sheet, and Cash-flow structure.
Capability to collect and analyze data to deliver KPI & Reporting.
Good understanding of technical and legal matters.
Strong leadership, communication skills, and ability to build networks and influence people in multi-cultural teams.
Decision-making and problem-solving capability.
Organizational skills.
