Description ACCOUNTABILITIES Accountabilities include but are not limited to the following:
Develop and manage the process for managing the repair loop for Overhaul Materials with the project teams.Coordinate with the Engineering & Maintenances Managers to ensure all procurement activities including Service Level Agreements (SLA) are developed, completed and secure, supporting the process with the development of associated purchased technical specifications (PTS).Plan, organize, and control all supply chain activities connected with the flow of materials & services into and out of Hitachi ERP/EAM system (SAP & Maximo) in coordination with warehouse supervisor and maintenances team leaders.Ensure the Client -Capital spare parts Replacement Plan is created and make recommendations on initiatives.Monitor parts during the repair cycle from the contractor, including evaluation of quotes from supplier, timings, and expectation of stock return.Work closely with the Warranty and Repair team to ensure spares are expedited quickly through the repair process.Participate in the Bid/Project Team and act as accountable for planning and management of all the Supply Chain requirements for the whole life cycle of the assigned project.Together with the Project Planner, be accountable for planning and monitoring the progress of the project activities.Support the Project Constructions Manager in the management of Subcontractors/packages.Manage Vendors/Subcontractors relationship through Programme team members (i.e. Project Engineer, Construction Manager) internal support.Gather procurement possible solution to aggregate Program budget external cost.Update and optimize Project needs from a Supply Chain perspective.Propose the Long Lead Time Materials Planning solutions.Propose the Make or Buy strategy for the Project (where applicable).Interface with the factory for make orders.Propose actions to manage risks (impact estimation & mitigation plan).Define Procurement - Logistic and Delivery Project Plan and ensure its execution.Manage material documentation if required by the Project.Ensure Vendors are engaged and expediting process is effective.Manage the SC Planning Support resource to assist Programme team members with logistic and admin processes.KEY SHARED ACCOUNTABILITIES Total delivery time for materials (shared with Logistic resources).Priority definition with management.Support the technical interface between project team members and Supply Chain.Contribute to the development of the culture of continuous improvement.Requirements: Must be proficient in Asset Management, Materials Requirement Planning "MRP" Software SAP & Maximo (CMMS).Must be proficient in MS Office tools.Minimum (3+) years of experience in Material Management, Production Planning experience, Purchasing and/or Scheduling.Minimum (5+) years in a team supervisory/leadership role including hiring, training, performance evaluation, coaching and mentoring.Bachelor's Degree in Operations Management, Business Administration, Engineering, Supply Chain or related field.Excellent interpersonal skills.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Excellent Proficiency in English.Proficiency in Arabic would be a plus.Ability to work under continuous pressure.Ability to effectively organize and prioritize work.Ability to build relationships with internal and external clients.Thank you for your interest in Hitachi Rail.
