Job Description Supply Chain Engineer (Customer) Temp 1 year This is a key role where you will oversee the downstream Supply Chain Order Process to deliver a great customer service and operational excellence, by delivering an effective strategic and tactical Order Production Planning methodology.
Taking full ownership of the customer order experience from order placement to the delivery of the products, on time.
Reporting to the Supply Chain Manager, in this role you will be responsible for: Create Medium-Long term schedules to achieve customer on time delivery and maximize efficiencies within production.
Monitoring and reporting schedule adherence for Medium-Long Term Planning according with shortages and production Capacity Responsible for raising work orders by checking missing material and expediting all shortages to Material controllers Managing the master production plans (MPS) creating accurate and timely production plans, driving Order Production Process (from Order entry , BOM and Drawing issuing , Purchasing process , Manufacturing until to Shipping) to fulfill the Customer OTD Continuous monitoring of production LT providing Sales Dept.
with consistency, deliverable lead times of Rotork Products (RTF process) Co-Ordinate the S&OP process, analyzing data and identifying changes in Demand and Supply.
Taking ownership for the supply planning, ensuring forecasts can be achieved with the capacity available.
Communicate proposed resource and investment requirements, identifying any key risks to supply In strict collaboration with Application and Engineering Depts owns the product life cycle management First level of escalation for Order shortages and expediting requests from Contract/Sales Dept Facilitate internal supply chain meetings reporting on time delivery and schedule adherence Accountable for Supply Chain metrics, performance, and root cause countermeasures, inclusive of Customer OTD (Customer Request and First Promise) Responsible for the management of the product master data within the ERP system Lead the deployment of lean methodology such as value stream mapping and making material and activities flow within the plant and keep all documentation up to date Qualifications Experience Requirements: Educated to degree level or with appropriate workplace experience/qualification.
Strong data analysis expert Use of common tools such as Microsoft Word, Excel and Power point.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Fluent English The Successful Candidate: Excellent relationship management, with the ability to work collaboratively.
Able to think strategically and translate the strategy into operational performance.
APIC's certified 6 Sigma green belt trained and/or lean equivalent.
