Job Description Supply Chain Engineer (Suppliers)

This is a key role where you will oversee the downstream supply chain to deliver great customer service and operational excellence by delivering an effective strategic and tactical production planning methodology. Taking full ownership of the customer experience from order placement to the delivery of the products, on time. Reporting to the Supply Chain Manager, in this role you will be responsible for:
Managing the work orders cycle daily through production. Creating master production plans by optimizing machine efficiencies, resource availability, and shift patterns. Proposing necessary adjustments in operational requirements. Managing all goods stocking policies, inventory levels, and engineering change requests. Providing customer service with consistency and deliverable lead times. Migrating data analysis information. Managing the product master data within the system. Resolving issues as they arise and facilitating internal supply chain meetings reporting on time delivery, inventory levels, and schedule adherence. This role would suit a determined problem-solver, who can build relationships with suppliers, working collaboratively on achieving the supply chain requirements, and possesses excellent computer program skills.
Qualifications Experience Requirements: Educated to degree level or with appropriate workplace experience/qualification. Strong data analysis expert. Proficiency in common tools such as Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Fluent in English. The Successful Candidate: Excellent relationship management, with the ability to work collaboratively. Able to think strategically and translate the strategy into operational performance. APIC's certified 6 Sigma green belt trained and/or lean equivalent.
