Do not hesitate and apply!Power Solutions & Vestas Quality > Vestas Quality > Supplier Quality& Development MEDThis position is part of the Supplier Quality & Development in Vestas MED region, which coordinates SQ&D activities and ensures the highest focus on quality, safety, and environment. The main goal is the strategic and operational development of key suppliers in South Europe, Turkey, the Middle East & Africa by performing site audits and supplier assessments and leading QSE improvement projects to enforce high supplier performance, zero incidents and reduce the number of non-conformities. The SQ&D Department is part of a matrix organization covering global and regional demands collaborating with multiple internal functions i.e. procurement, engineering, manufacturing facilities, service & project management.ResponsibilitiesDeploy the Vestas Quality, Safety and Environment Strategy towards external Cranes & Installations suppliersEnsure supplier quality, capability, and performance in compliance with regional & global strategyImplement new market entry strategy & new supplier onboarding ensuring Vestas processes are followedSecure agreement with regional QHSE & Construction team for completion of supplier improvement activitiesCoordinate QSE activities in cases of non-quality performance and incidents with suppliers in line with Vestas requirementsDrive Supplier Performance Review Meetings with cross-functional participationEnsure that relevant QSE agreements with suppliers are in placeLead and conduct supplier development projects and supplier local initiatives, conduct QHSE audits, and prepare present executive reportsQualificationsBachelor's Degree in Engineering discipline or equivalent qualificationHaving +3 years experience in a similar role/relevant industry background: Wind Turbines InstallationCertification / Experience in APQP framework will be beneficialCertified ISO auditor/lead auditor or other standards and relevant quality-safety certifications are an added valueGreen Belt Six Sigma qualification will be beneficialExpertise and experience in wind turbine installationHigh project management skills with the ability to deliver complex development projects across the organizationCompetency in data analytics and good problem-solving skills, having the ability to identify and deliver actionable solutions to complex problemsGood communication skills, oral and written with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders within an international, collaborative & cross-functional environmentProactive personality, independent learning & critical thinking skillsFull proficiency in EnglishWhat We OfferYou will join a team of enthusiastic and solution-oriented colleagues with the mindset to be a part of the climate change solution, by bringing exponential and commercial impact to Vestas's wind power solutions.
