Coordinate and ensure the Importante Azienda of supplier performance to competitively meet the objectives of the purchasing policy on all families of the group panel.
Main Missions 1 - Coordinate the activities in their field
- Hold department meetings on a regular basis to ensure effective upward and downward communication and to coordinate the activities in their field
- Make the necessary decisions to optimize results, in line with initial data
2 - Coordinate continuous improvement in their field
- Check the follow-up of qualification and Quality/Cost/Deadline/Services/Innovation performance management of the suppliers on the Group panel.
- Check the choice of suppliers, and strategic suppliers in particular, within the framework of the policy and objectives of the Purchasing department
- Participate in cost optimization within the framework of the defined Purchasing strategy
- Propose improvements to organization and processes
- Compare results with objectives and control the implementation and monitoring of the department's action plans
- Participate in the 'Sourcing Committee' and assert the right to veto Quality-related decisions
- Participate in the 'Weekly Quality' sessions and coordinate activities with Quality Department
- Provide support to the Quality teams in difficult situations
- Prioritize and define audit schedules and the choice of suppliers to be audited
- Challenge their teams to optimize action plans in progress
- Be authorized to grant exemptions for the assignment of a supplier
- Ensure that the choice ofsuppliers is Importante Azienda in line with Group processes
- Ensure that quality requirements are taken into account in the definition of family purchasing strategies
3 - Manage their activity and team:
- Based on the objectives of their activity, prepare action plans and coordinate the missions of their team in a coherent manner
- Propose the necessary resources for attaining their objectives and implement the necessary actions for staff turnover (recruitment, transfers, dismissal/redundancy) and investments according to budgetary forecasts and Importante Azienda constraints
- Monitor performance indicators for their activity, implement corrective actions if necessary and inform their teams
- Conduct annual performance reviews, set the objectives of their employees
- Develop the team's skills for the activity and propose individual and/or group training actions that are necessary to maintain the performance levels of the activities
- Advise employees on professional development and promote internal mobility
- Propose salary increases within the framework of the Group's salary policy
- Enforce appropriate disciplinary measures for their employees, when necessary
- Strive to maintain team motivation and a positive working environment
- Check and approve team members' expense claims (travel, etc.)
and authorizations for absence/vacations
- Ensure that job descriptions are updated according to Group procedures
- Report on their activity
Profile
Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in Automotive industry field
Fluency in French and in English.
