- Hold department meetings on a regular basis to ensure effective upward and downward communication and to coordinate the activities in their field

- Participate in cost optimization within the framework of the defined Purchasing strategy
- Propose improvements to organization and processes
- Compare results with objectives and control the implementation and monitoring of the department's action plans
- Participate in the 'Sourcing Committee' and assert the right to veto Quality-related decisions
- Participate in the 'Weekly Quality' sessions and coordinate activities with Quality Department
- Provide support to the Quality teams in difficult situations
- Prioritize and define audit schedules and the choice of suppliers to be audited
- Challenge their teams to optimize action plans in progress

- Ensure that quality requirements are taken into account in the definition of family purchasing strategies 3 - Manage their activity and team:
- Based on the objectives of their activity, prepare action plans and coordinate the missions of their team in a coherent manner - Propose the necessary resources for attaining their objectives and implement the necessary actions for staff turnover (recruitment, transfers, dismissal/redundancy) and investments according to budgetary forecasts and Importante Azienda constraints
- Monitor performance indicators for their activity, implement corrective actions if necessary and inform their teams - Conduct annual performance reviews, set the objectives of their employees
