Supplier Performance Manager Our client is a multinational company, based in USA and has sales, engineering, and manufacturing facilities in twenty-six countries, including Italy.
The company is specialized in automatic solutions, precisely in design and manufacturing of electric, electro-hydraulic and hydraulic motion, controls and systems for applications in aerospace, defense, industrial and medical devices.
Actually, for the supply chain division based in the North of Italy, we are looking for: Supplier Performance Manager Your new role: Plan and execute recovery project activities; Be the onsite presence for the company in key EU based supplier; Lead and coordinate cross-functional teams dedicated to supplier recovery efforts.
Identify what required functions are needed to support supplier improvement projects; Plan and facilitate JIP supplier visits; Plan and coordinate project-dedicated resources and stakeholders; Identify, report and mitigate project risks; Report project progress to Supplier Development Manager and escalate if required; Report out to wider supply chain team and other key stakeholders on progress; Carry out capacity assessments and identify areas for improvement.
Needed for beginning effectiveness in the job: A bachelor's degree level education, preferred in the fields of engineering, supply chain, or business; 60% - 70% Travel Time; Greater than 5 years of progressive experience in the field of manufacturing or engineering (preferably Aerospace); Desired qualifications include Certification in Purchasing, Supply Chain, Program Management; Good negotiating skills; Strong communication skills are required in the form of written, verbal and formal presentation; The individual must be able to deal with a variety of tasks at any one time and understand the priorities.
Salary Package: commensurate with experience.
