Your opportunity
Responsible for the development and implementation of sourcing strategies and supplier management for given categories of spend. Perform sourcing activities for a set portfolio of spend categories at global and/or local level to achieve commodity results and ensure compliance with Group strategy to drive overall performance & profitability for the Business.
Your Mission
Develop and implement short and mid-termglobal commodity strategies for assigned spend categories, including strategicareas, notably by performing and consolidating conclusion of diverse and/orcomplex analysis (spent, cost breakdown) and business continuity assessment.
Define the annual saving forecast definition, identifying risk andopportunities. Is responsible of the tenders (RFQ) for the allocatedcommodities.
Negotiate contracts with global and local Suppliers. Negotiation includeslists, quality standards, prices, discount rates, duration, deliverytimescales, commercial terms and conditions.
Perform Supplier base management activities by ensuring contracting tasks,financial risk assessment, non quality cost recovery, supplier visit anddisengagement process and manage Supplier Relationship at global level,monitoring trend of KPIs and setting necessary corrective actions. Activelyinteract with suppliers to drive the productivity, meet quality requirementswhile driving proper actions to mitigate the risks. Manage forcefully theissues escalated impacting the execution.
Scout new suppliers to comply with the category strategy and lead thequalification process developing a unique sustainable supplier base.
Perform analysis in assigned spend categories. For relevant commodity (cost,strategic importance, …), monitor the market through constant benchmarkingand/or cost breakdown analysis in order to continuously improve costs, quality,delivery and technology; and escalade in case of main non conformityPerformbusiness continuity assessment: financial risk including supplier dependencyanalysis and capacity assessment with dual source analysis.
Your Profile
Education andLanguages:
Minimum Education: Master's Degree in Engineering is preferred; Business,Economics is also accepted
Excellent English is mandatory (written and spoken)
Fluency in French, Italian and/or Chinese is an advantage
Required Experience and Skills:
Minimum 5 years in strategic sourcing in an international manufacturingcompany; Experience in Indirect Services Sourcing is preferred and isconsidered an advantage
Experience in international negotiation, contracting and claim management
Excellent negotiation and communication skills as key element in order tointeract both with suppliers and internal stakeholders at differenthierarchical levels;
Computer Skills: Proficiency in MS Office application (Word, Power Point,Outlook, etc); SAP knowledge is an advantage
Experience outside of own country of origin is a plus
Target oriented, resilient and able to work in autonomously
