Working place: Ravenna, Italy RESPONSIBILITIES E&I Installation
You will act as the interface and focal point between the local construction team and the engineering back office for all instrumentation engineering issues. You are responsible for the clarification of queries with the engineering back office in Dresden. Your role includes participating in and contributing to yard construction team meetings as well as regular status meetings. You will support the yard by troubleshooting, making small red markings in existing documentation, or preparing new drawings (hook ups) as part of prefabrication for solving issues. You will supervise and conduct conformation checks of the installation works, track progress, give instructions for installation and mechanical completion (MC), and ensure quality and cleanliness during construction progress. This includes the installation of local control stations, Remote I/O's, and field instruments. You will oversee the tubing for module-related air consumers. Your responsibilities include the installation of cable trays and secondary cable ways via wire mesh or conduits. You will manage the installation of LV power and signal cables and their connections. You are tasked with the installation of small steel structures, unistrut, and brackets. You will handle the laying and connecting of potential equalization cables. You will ensure the proper installation of the grounding system. You will report deficiencies regarding the quality of work and organize and address improvement measures. Your duties include supporting the clearance of construction punch items. You will coordinate the yard construction team, including the local construction partner. You will supervise the construction partner's generated quality documents, such as cable continuity checks and tubing tests. Your responsibilities include supporting red-marking and as-built documentation. You will support the documentation and reporting of activities in the completion management system to achieve MC for module-related scopes. Pre-/ Commissioning
You will act as the interface and focal point for the Equipment Responsible Engineer (EQR). Your role includes participating in and contributing to team meetings to facilitate communication with the back office in Dresden. You will conduct loop checks and verify records of signals from field devices to remote I/O boxes using the test system (Siemens S7 - TIA based) via costumers construction management system CMS. You will check records to prove mechanical completion at the yard via costumers construction management system CMS. You will support handover management activities. Your role includes troubleshooting as needed. You will participate in hardware FAT (factory acceptance test) with the client. You will supervise and give instructions for the partial dismantling of small instrumentation scopes for the transport of modules to the site. QUALIFICATIONS You must have over 2 years of experience in planning and/or supervising instrumentation installation. Over 2 years of pre-commissioning and commissioning experience with instrumentation systems is required. You should possess operation and parameterization skills for Siemens S7 - TIA based test systems, primarily for loop checks. Basic knowledge and experience with LV electrical wiring and consumers, such as lighting fixtures, are necessary. Knowledge and experience with explosion hazards and protection measures, primarily Ex i, are expected. Proficiency in MSOffice (MSACCESS, MSEXCEL, MSWORD, MSTEAMS) is required. You should be able to derive information using a 3D model provided via Smart Plant Software. Fluency in German and English, both spoken and written, is essential. While speaking and understanding Italian would be advantageous, it is not a requirement. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, a hands-on mentality, a can-do and problem-solving attitude, self-reliance, self-motivation, and a commitment to project completion within time and budget are necessary
