NEW SUPER YACHT PRODUCTION SUPERVISOR (Super Sport 48mt) — Palmer Johnson Yachts On Board Coordinator - Capo Barca (Super Sport 48mt)Type: Full-Time Experience: 5 Years Function: Super Yacht Production Location: Pisa, ItalyDescription:To manage production resources in an efficient, effective and safe manner to produce high quality projects in compliance with the prevailing quality standards whilst meeting schedule requirements. Coordination of the work carried out by supplier installation companies contracted. Acting as an Ambassador for PJ Yachts, operating with integrity and drive appropriate to the Company's values, to promote PJ as a market leader.
Responsibilities/Tasks:Responsible for the coordination of the boat construction phases process, from the estimate to the test.Coordination of the construction work of the boat, responding to it in terms of quality, time and costs.Activities of support or the solution of technical problems but, above all, to lead the organization of the works on board, optimizing the use of the personnel in charge.Evaluation of the types of work to be carried out on the boat and carries out the detailed programming, scheduling the activities, organizing its collaborators and checking the progress.Coordination of the work carried out by supplying firms.Knowledge and application of time planning and control techniques as well as evaluation of the quality level of the work done.Desired Skills and Experience:Production processes experience within naval sector.Team coordination and management techniques.Well-organised attitude and strong leadership.Good knowledge in the field of on-board plant engineering and naval mechanics, as well as luxury furniture of super yachts.Able to read drawings and understanding the time impact on the production activities.Excellent communication skills.Excellent time management and organizational skills and experience establishing guidelines in these areas for others.Excellent knowledge of Super Yacht quality standards on all the main disciplines:- machinery installation- deck equipment installation- electrical and piping systems- interior- paintRequired Skills:At least 5 years of experience within the super yacht production field.Good English & Italian verbal & written communication skills.To apply please send your Resume and Cover Letter to: ****** with the subject line "SUPER YACHT PRODUCTION SUPERVISOR (Super Sport 48mt)".
