As a Sundries and Equipment Segment Manager you will technically lead, evaluate and develop the PPG EMEA sundries product range and training creation, with a focus on the roll out of PPG brands Bodyline and Essentials across EMEA.
You will work closely with the Sundries and Equipment Product Manager EMEA, to ensure the sundries offer, product and processes, R&D, branding, strategy and standard methodology for sundries offer in EMEA is implemented within the markets with trends based products and solutions.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Lead roll-out of the sundries brands Bodyline and Essentials and coordinate the expansion across the EMEA region.
- Supporting regional leaders for sundries & equipment to ensure strategy execution and that operational marketing teams and country teams have the required skills to achieve the growth plans.
- Prepare the value proposition for this segment and all the training modules to instruct the regional teams and support the sales activities.
Be the technical and trainer leader for the Sundries and Equipment portfolio and provide the right support to the markets.
- Ensure EMEA regions technical, sales and marketing teams understand the EMEA sundries portfolio, standard methodologies to improve sales and increase penetration in the market.
- For all the above product areas, to ensure an up to date knowledge of competitor propositions through competitive intelligence, and to identify the best product in class (benchmark) in order to assure we deliver high quality and performance products in the Sundries area
- Together with the sundries & equipment product manager drive the roadmap to help to the regional leaders with the implementation of the full portfolio for Body and Paint shop
- Collaboration with regional Sundries and equipment segment managers to adapting their needs
- Contribute to the development and manage the delivery of new product development plans targeted at enhancing PPG sales, market share and competitive leadership in the Sundries & equipment segment.
- Implement defined plans for the Refinish EMEA Sundries product portfolio at the different stages of their lifecycles and manage the product launch, repositioning, rationalization and obsoletion process at regional and territory level.
- Closely work with Regional sales teams to effectively manage new product launches, product replacements and product obsolescence.
- Develop improvement ideas and suggestions around the use of branded sundries products
**Qualifications**:
- Outstanding knowledge of the refinish market, dry goods market, bodyshop environment and repair process.
- Strong technical skills, training skills and commercial learning experience.
- Positive relationships with local commercial and marketing teams.
- Outstanding interpersonal with strong communication and relationship skills.
- Proficient Project management capability.
- Capable to handle several project aspects simultaneously
- 5-10 years business learning experience in technical, product management, commercial or marketing area.
- Proficient English.
Proficiency in a second language is nice to have
