Subrogation Specialist

American Modern Insurance Group is recruiting for a part-time Subrogation Specialist.
In this role you will be responsible for the evaluation, and negotiation and recovery of subrogation claims for various lines of business.
We're seeking an individual with excellent decision making skills, the ability to work under pressure, solid organizational skills, exemplary customer service skills, as well as time management skills to balance various tasks in a standard work day.
**Responsibilities**:
- Prompt review and evaluation of claim referrals and initiation of subrogation activity.
- Coordination/collaboration with adjusters on early referrals to ensure recovery potential is maximized.
- Prompt filing of and response to inter-company arbitration
- Ensures subrogation claims are handled per state specific compliance requirements.
- Effective desk and diary management to ensure subrogation claims are updated per file requirements.
- Manages external vendors to include clear communication and direction on recovery expectations.
**Qualifications**:
- Preferred three (3) years claims related experience with understanding of liability negligence statutes.
- Prior subrogation and / or salvage experience is a plus.
- Working knowledge of the Microsoft Office products suite.
- Strong organization and interpersonal communication skills.
- Customer oriented and dedicated to providing an exceptional customer experience
- The ability to analyze situations, resolve problems and make quality decisions
- Associate's Degree or Equivalent Work Experience
