Subject Matter Expert

Responsibilities:
Design, optimize and troubleshoot methods for automated liquid handling of complex molecular biology and genetic workflows, including NGS library preparation (post-sales support ~50% of the role)
Be responsible for the training planning and execution for the products in own line of excellence
**Requirements**:
Must have:
Bachelor's degree in Bioengineering, Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, or similar with 5+ years of relevant experience or Master's degree with 3+ years or relevant experience; PhDdegree is considered as an advantage.
Must have:
3+ years hands-on experience in NGS/molecular genetics lab work and willingness to learn programming.
Alternatively, 1-2 years NGS library automation experience, especially writing and optimizing scripts on automated liquid handling platforms (optimization of pipetting accuracy, precision and/or speed beyond default settings).
Must have:
Enthusiastic, proactive and stress resistant personality.
Proven success working on your own initiative as well as part of a team.
Comfortable to travel nationally and internationally 50-70% of the working week.
Excellent interpersonal skills - interest to work with customers
Willingness to develop commercial acumen and understanding of business drivers.
Fluency in English, spoken and written.
Full driving license.
