OVERALL PURPOSE OF ROLE: The main duty of the Installation Sub Sea Landing Projects Coordinator is to manage and execute the preparatory works necessary to perform the cable shore landing of the Projects, therefore mainly the shore preparation works and cable landings.
The landing coordinator is responsible for the interface between the Project Engineering from Marine Operations team and the subcontractors.
To reach this target she/he has to coordinate the various functions of the installation department and be active part during the actual project execution works.
The Installation Landing Coordinator is directly reporting to Offshore Operations General Management.
Main area of activities is: Prysmian Operational sites, all the shore preparation works and landings.
Including execution of all the necessary constructions works to perform the cable installation works.
Subcontract operational sites.
KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES Tasks are conducted in coordination with other colleagues of Installation Department and with other Prysmian functions such as Project Management, Quality, Purchasing with the aim of supporting the execution of the submarine systems projects awarded to Prysmian.
Interface with Project Engineering team, making sure that procedures are in place, operational sites are prepared accordingly, and cable landings are performed according to procedure and with high level of quality.
Cover technical responsibility in the subcontractor's management in terms of technical aspects and planning.
Interact with Vessels deployed on projects, Project Team and Clients, mainly on technical, planning, operative aspects, in daily conference telecommunications or direct meetings.
Be the primary contact to Offshore Operations General Manager for all Project matters raised in field and act as an escalation point for all operative needs and issues: ensuring these are resolved in an appropriate and timely manner to meet agreed Contractual/Planning expectations.
Be responsible that the Construction is completed on time and according to safety and quality requirements.
Verify compliance with project and contractual documents, and ensure that all contractual obligations are fulfilled in time from Mob phase of vessels to the scope completion.
Study, propose and implement innovative solutions (procedures, vessels, equipment) for Installation phases.
Ensure through the involved department that accurate records are maintained in order to fill As Built documentation requirements.
Identify and manage NCs during works.
Suggest corrective actions.
Monitor that the activities/documentation related to Operations are properly and timely executed/prepared by the assigned personnel.
Cost controlling of the activities under his responsibility, making sure operations are performed according to budget.

Function requires significant travel on an international basis.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE Minimum Qualifications: Preferred to have a Bachelor's and Master's Degrees in Engineering or other Engineering related subjects.
Minimum Experience: Preferably experience in the construction industry.
This is not a mandatory requirement since the industry sector is very specific, to be noted that Prysmian has a dedicated training and development process within Marine Operations department.
