The Lighthouse offers a seamless flow from ideation to production to publish, surrounded by peers in a collaborative and inspiring environment.About the role:The Studio Manager at The Lighthouse is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our state-of-the-art production studios, including podcast studios, gaming rooms, editing bays, livestreaming rooms, green screen rooms, specialized sets, and photography studios.
You will ensure that the studios are fully functional, well-maintained, and accessible to our members, providing an exceptional experience for all users.
The Studio Manager will also play a key role in coordinating with the General Manager and other teams to ensure that the studio services align with the overall mission and vision of The Lighthouse.Here's what you'll do day-to-day:Oversee the daily operations of all production studios, ensuring optimal functionality and availability for members utilizing The Lighthouse App (PeopleVine).Coordinate studio bookings, managing the tech team schedules to maximize usage and minimize conflicts.Ensure that all studio spaces are properly maintained, including equipment upkeep, cleanliness, and safety compliance.Manage the inventory of studio equipment, facilitating regular checks, repairs, and upgrades as needed.Provide technical support to creators using the studios, assisting with equipment setup, troubleshooting, and best practices for production.Ensure technology systems are operational, minimizing downtime for members and staff.Work closely with the IT teams troubleshooting issues with end-users, the network, and systems.Work closely with the AV team to address any technical issues promptly, ensuring minimal disruption to studio operations.Communicate regularly with members to gather feedback, address concerns, and identify opportunities to enhance the studio experience.Create and maintain standard operating procedures for the studio and production spaces.Manage the budget for studio operations, including equipment purchases, maintenance, and repairs, ensuring cost-effectiveness and alignment with organizational goals.Collaborate with the Events Team to support the technical needs of events held in The Lighthouse studios, including setup, execution, and teardown.Assist in the planning and execution of private and brand partnership events, ensuring seamless integration of studio capabilities.Here's what we're looking for:3-5 years of experience in studio management, production, or a related field.A strong understanding of the technical aspects of production.Excellent organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a passion for working with creatives and helping them bring their visions to life.Proven experience managing budgets and financial reporting.Technical proficiency in studio equipment, including cameras, lighting, sound, and editing software.Ability to think creatively and solve problems in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.Leadership experience with a small team, with a focus on mentoring and development.A passion for creativity and innovation, aligned with The Lighthouse's mission to be a beacon for creators.A collaborative mindset, eager to work with other teams to enhance the overall member experience.Commitment to fostering a diverse and inclusive environment, reflecting the values of The Lighthouse.Understand the philosophical difference between being a Leader vs being just a Manager.Be a Good Person.The salary range for this role is $85,000 - $120,000 and serves as a general guideline reflecting the potential compensation for the role.
