Brief Call: Our process typically begins with a brief virtual/phone conversation to get to know you! The objective? Learn about you, understand your motivations, and make sure we have the right job for you!
Interviews: The average number of interviews is 3 - the number may vary depending on the level of seniority required for the position. During the interviews, you will meet people from our team: your line manager of course, but also other people related to your future role. We will talk in depth about you, your experience, and skills, but also about the position and what will be expected of you. Of course, you will also get to know Amaris: our culture, our roots, our teams, and your career opportunities!
Case study: Depending on the position, we may ask you to take a test. This could be a role play, a technical assessment, a problem-solving scenario, etc.

Job descriptionAs a Stress Engineer, you will be responsible for conducting detailed structural analyses of aerospace components and systems. Your role will involve applying FEM (Finite Element Method) and FEA (Finite Element Analysis) techniques to ensure the structural integrity and performance of our designs. You will collaborate with design teams to integrate structural considerations into the design process.
Your responsibilities: Perform structural analysis using FEM and FEA techniques to evaluate the performance and safety of aerospace components.Utilize Hypermesh for conducting detailed stress analyses and simulations.Collaborate with CAD design teams to ensure that structural requirements are incorporated into the design process.Provide recommendations for design improvements based on analysis results.Prepare and present comprehensive reports and documentation on structural analysis and verification.Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements throughout the engineering process.Apply your aerospace background to address specific challenges related to aircraft design and performance.Your profile: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field+ 5 years of experience in stress engineering or structural analysis, with a background in aerospace.Proficiency in FEM and FEA techniques for structural analysis.Expertise in using Hypermesh for stress analysis.Experience with CAD tools such as Siemens NX or Catia is a plus.In-depth knowledge of aerospace design and certification processes.Familiarity with additional CAD or analysis tools.Fluent in English.Our Company Culture: • Agility: Thrive in a flexible, dynamic, and stimulating environment.
