We are looking for a Strategy Manager to join the Strategy, Transformation and M&A team of KONE Eastern Europe and Mediterranean frontline (consists of 16 countries in Central and Eastern Europe, and Mediterranean region).
We are looking for an experienced strategy manager to shape our organization's short and long-term strategy and develop measures that realize our business objectives.
The strategy manager will be tasked with assessing organizational performance with internal and market data, collaborating closely with the three business lines and regional management teams.
In more detailed, the main responsibilities in the role would include: Define together with the team a plan how to deploy the new corporate strategy, published later in 2024 will be implemented and implementation followed up in the frontline.
Lead the strategy development for KONE Eastern Europe, and Mediterranean frontline and its three business lines.
Support the 6 regional management teams in defining their "northern star" vision and regional strategy, aligned with the business line and overall corporate strategy.
Work closely with M&A manager and regions to define country-level analysis on investment & growth opportunities.
Perform research and analyze the market to identify threats and opportunities, and to build a better common understanding of our business and our customers business across our 16 countries.
Identify competitor and industry trends and issues to help extract valuable strategic insights.
As needed, manage strategic projects, such as integrations of acquired companies.
As this is a new role for the frontline, you will also have a chance to impact the final role description based on your expertise and experience.
What we would expect from you: Minimum 5 years of experience working with strategy development or strategy projects, for example in a similar role in an industry or consulting.
Fluent working ability in English, other languages will be considered an asset.
Project management skills and experience.
A suitable Finance, Economic or Business academic degree.
Proactive and independent approach, ability to collaborate with business line and regional teams.
Strong analytical & problem solving skills with ability to apply critical thinking.
Data-driven and analytical mindset with ability to leverage on data and research insights.
Excellent communication, influencing & presentation skills Ability to organize and manage numerous projects with frequently changing priorities in a fast-paced work environment.
International experience and a willingness to travel up to 25% of time within Europe.
