Develop your career path in our Energy, Utilities and Resources team – Strategy, M&A Transformation (Strategy, M&A and Valuations).
Key activities and responsibilities: Origination and execution of extraordinary transactions in the Italian and international M&A context; Provision of quantitative and qualitative analysis of investment opportunities in the Energy and Utilities sector; Identification of the economic value of companies, business units, industrial projects, and intangible assets; Financial modeling, forecasting, and valuation; Definition of strategic and industrial Business Plans in the Energy and Utilities sector; Analysis of different strategic options and the competitive environment; Developing market analysis and Commercial Due Diligence; Project management; Drafting of documentation such as company profiles, pitches, teasers, information memorandum, presentations, and legal agreements; Fairness opinions; Coaching and tutoring of junior resources, under the supervision of a senior colleague.
Candidate profile: Proven working experience track record of at least 3-4 years in Investment Banking, Management Consulting, Financial boutiques, Investment Funds, Private Equity, Corporate Finance roles; Focus and experience in the Energy and Utilities sector will be considered a preferential requirement in the selection process; Master's Degree in Economics or Engineering; Be a strategic thinker with robust analytical skills; Strong financial modeling, valuation, and presentation skills; Full knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint tools; Ability to drive projects and work effectively in a team environment; Ability to understand and anticipate customer expectations, proactivity in problem solving; Strong motivation to consolidate a professional career in Management Consulting; Be an excellent communicator in both written and spoken English; Availability for business trips in Italy/abroad.
