Job Description As a Strategy Director , you work in the EVERSANA Health Innovation team , collaborating with multidisciplinary team members and reporting to the Senior Vice President of Health Innovation.
As an expert strategy consultant, you will shape, inform, and contribute to successful health innovation strategies for our clients and ecosystem partners operating in the healthcare and life sciences sector.
In so doing, you will play a crucial role in shaping and driving the value and ground-breaking impact of digital health technologies .
You will be responsible for projects focused on digital health innovations – ranging from digital medicines , telemedicine and digital therapeutics ; to AI-driven applications and XR ; both stand-alone innovations and those combined with pharmaceutical treatments or other medical devices .
As a Strategist you do not need advanced technical expertise but will need to work effectively with tech and junior team members, leading more of the strategic thinking, content and project development .
The work will focus on matching client and ecosystem needs with potential applications of digital health innovations, carrying forward co-ideation strategies; development and scouting of technologies, clients and partners; and developing effective commercialization and GTM strategies.
Strategic assessment of the value of digital health innovations, quantitative and qualitative data analysis, understanding of regulatory requirements, keeping up to speed with the evolving competitive landscape, applicable business and GTM models, policy and scientific literature landscape will be fundamental.
The ability to analyze information and transform it into actionable insights, business plans and GTM strategies will be key.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Strategy Development : Lead the development and execution of health innovation strategies, including the identification of opportunities for digital health technologies, and creating detailed strategic plans tailored to client needs.
Draft strategic plans, business plans and GTM strategies tailored to digital health innovations.
  Commercialization and Go-To-Market (GTM) Strategy : Develop and implement commercialization and GTM strategies for digital health innovations, ensuring they are aligned with regulatory requirements and market needs.
  Market, Landscape & Technology Analysis : Conduct comprehensive market analyses, competitive landscape assessments, analysis of care pathways and scientific literature reviews and technology scouting to identify emerging trends, potential partners, and innovative solutions in digital health.
Stay informed about relevant regulatory requirements, policy changes, industry trends and scientific advancements in digital health, ensuring that strategies and recommendations are compliant and up-to-date.
  Data Analysis and Insight Generation : Utilize both qualitative and quantitative data to assess the value of digital health innovations, transforming insights into actionable business strategies and recommendations.
  Project Management : Oversee multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery, alignment with client goals, and adherence to budget constraints.
Coordinate efforts across cross-functional teams, including technical, regulatory, and business development teams.
  PRESENTATIONS AND ARTICLE WRITING: Produce high-quality narrative and scientific articles and PowerPoint presentations in English.
Convey complex concepts in a clear and compelling manner to target audiences, including healthcare professionals, researchers, and industry stakeholders.
Contribute and lead client and KOL workshops.
  Client and Partner Engagement : Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, key opinion leaders (KOLs), and ecosystem partners.
Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and align innovation strategies accordingly.
  Team Collaboration and Leadership : Collaborate with senior leadership, guiding junior team members and ensuring cohesive teamwork across multidisciplinary groups.
Provide mentorship and support to junior strategists.
Operate effectively in a matrix and rapidly evolving organization, effectively and responsibly taking on tasks and delivering outcomes; collaborating with interdisciplinary team members stakeholders.
Qualifications MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES: The requirements listed below are representative of the experience, education, knowledge, skill and/or abilities required.
Proven experience in developing and executing comprehensive health innovation strategies, including the ability to draft detailed business plans, strategic plans, and go-to-market (GTM) strategies tailored to digital health technologies ("beyond and around the pill").
Strong understanding of commercialization processes for digital health innovations, including knowledge of market dynamics, regulatory landscapes, and the ability to craft GTM strategies that align with industry requirements and market needs.
Extensive understanding of the healthcare and life sciences industries, including familiarity with clinical practices, care pathways, regulatory environments, market dynamics.
Up-to-date knowledge of digital health technologies, regulatory environments, industry trends, business models, and scientific advancements.
Ability to apply this knowledge to ensure that strategies, recommendations, and project outcomes are current and compliant with evolving standards.
Advanced analytical capabilities with experience in conducting market and competitive landscape analyses, evaluating care pathways, and performing in-depth scientific literature reviews.
Experience in leading workshops with clients and KOLs, with strong public speaking and facilitation skills.
Demonstrated experience in managing complex projects across multiple teams, with strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to meet deadlines and budget constraints in a fast-paced environment.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English, with the ability to produce high-quality articles, reports, and presentations.
Team leadership and collaboration Strong problem-solving skills, creativity, and the ability to take initiative and drive outcomes.
  PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor of Medicine and/or public health degree; bachelor's or master's degree in healthcare management, health economics, or a related field.
At least + 5 years of related experience Proven experience in commercial strategy development within the digital health or healthcare industry.
