Position SummaryWhat is your role? The Strategy and Corporate Development Executive Director is a key member of the Motion Technologies leadership team as well as the global strategy team. This individual will work closely with the value center, corporate functions and MT's leadership team to define MT strategy and drive MT growth initiatives, covering both organic and inorganic growth. The position offers the unique opportunity to participate in high-level strategic decision-making and to shape the future of MT. The role will report to the SVP, Strategy and Corporate Development and to the MT President.
Essential ResponsibilitiesYour day in the life in ITT as a Strategy and Corporate Development Executive Director Strategy and Business Development Partnering with the MT leaders in developing, maintaining and executing the business strategy.Identify organic growth opportunities, carry out the required analyses and assessments, and lead projects to implementation.Advance strategic initiatives.Drive MT's annual strategic planning process.Market Intelligence Monitor peer/competitor activities and benchmark ITT performance.Conduct specific market sizing and market share assessments.Corporate Venture Capital Support the central Corporate Venturing team in identifying opportunities to partner and support the growth of MT through collaboration and possibly investments in start-ups (open innovation).M&A Support the development and execution of selective M&A opportunities for MT.Develop a M&A pipeline for each business as applicable.Execute M&A projects in close collaboration with the corporate development team, including coordinating cross-functional teams throughout the process.People Management: Act as a mentor and actively develop more junior team members in the global strategy team.Position RequirementsWhat will make you our perfect match?
