You will constantly monitor and measure growth opportunities within core markets.
We are looking for an ambitious individual to take the lead in understanding adjacent growth opportunities to drive new product development, focusing on value adding solutions for customers.Market Landscape – The Strategic Marketing Manager will have a full understanding of the market dynamics including customer and consumer trends, competitive trends and actions and will drive market sizing efforts to ensure focus on addressable market.Opportunity Mapping – Through research and market data understand our customer needs and translate those needs into actionable pain points and opportunities, measure, monitor and prioritize the 80 opportunities and work with Product Managers and commercial teams on Value Proposition and Go-To Market strategy and communications plan.
Analyze and communicate sales trends for given product lines using dashboards and tracking reports Create and implement annual growth plans and product strategy.Customer Back Innovation – Execution of the new product development roadmap to capitalize on key market opportunities and champion the Customer Back Innovation stage gate process through cross-functional leadership including: strategic fit, competitive analysis, prioritized customer pain points, value proposition, business case.
Validating value propositions for products using Market Insights and Research, Develop and maintain a keen awareness, analysis and communication of competitor and market trends.
Attend events, exhibitions and conferences to network and gain further insights which may include evenings and weekends from time to time.QualificationsEvidence of developing and implementing commercial/marketing strategies.Ability to identify opportunities, creating solutions and implement effectively.Technical competence.Ability to unlock opportunities within the market to expand sales.Experience of Sales or Marketing preferable.Highly self-motivated and driven to succeed.A good standard of education.Ability to influence internal and external stakeholders to change behavior through persuasive communication.Ability to maintain positive relationships to support collaborative working.Keen attention to detail.Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks.Flexibility to travel.Additional InformationMust be willing to travel as necessary to fulfill the job responsibilities.
