The Stationary Engineer manages the plant equipment, conducting preventative maintenance and project work as needed to ensure the operation of the plant and safety of employees.
Ways you will make a differenceAssure implementation of an equipment management plan for boilers, compressors, chillers, and other assigned equipmentMaintain boilers and related equipment to assure operation according to manufacturer specificationObserve pressure/temperature gauges and panel view screens to verify specified operation automatic combustion control systems, feed water regulators, and burnersMake minor repairs as needed, reporting any major problems to supervisorTest and treat water boiler feed water using specified chemicals; maintain a log of water test resultsEnter work order information into MMS system (SAP)Follow safety regulations and maintain compliances of GMPs and safety standards; ensure adherence with applicable regulations and food safety requirementsUnderstand and demonstrate the Company's core values and operation principlesSkills that will make you successfulKnowledge of applicable safety requirementsAbility to comprehend, speak, read, and write in EnglishMust be able to exert up to 50 lbs.
