Purpose of Position: The internship in Central / Demand planning aims to provide an overview of the role as Demand Planner in a multinational company and allow the intern to gain more and more autonomy in the assigned tasks. He/she will support the Demand Planner in demand planning activities in order to develop and update monthly sales forecasts, through continuous comparison and in collaboration with other departments. Main activities / responsibilities:Support in weekly update of the forecast based on the progress of salesSupport in daily and weekly check of the progress of sales actual vs forecast, budget and previous yearSupport in the implementation and test of the new tools for Demand Planning, Production Planning and Material requirement planningMonitor New Product Launch/Phase Out and Switches of the codes, in terms of forecast and availability, to maximize Service Level and to minimize Write off.Prepare and monitor the Forecast accuracy KPI's, drive root cause analysis and lead actions. Implement official reporting on FA KPI'sRequierements:Education: Degree in Economics or management engineering Professional Skills: Excellent analytical skills (historical sales data, market trends, and other factors to forecast future demand); Proficiency in extracting, manipulating, and analyzing data from various sources; Knowledge of the basic principles of supply chain management and the relationship between demand, production, and distribution. Experience: No experience needed Language Skills: Proficient English is mandatory.Computer Skills: MS Office. Mastery in Excel is mandatory.
