Operational Management of the Store • Support the Retail Manager in the daily management activities of the store.
Assist in the planning and implementation of visual merchandising strategies, ensuring that products are attractively presented and consistent with the brand image.
Supervise and coordinate daily store operations to ensure efficiency and compliance with company policies.
Assist in inventory management, including receiving goods, inventory control, and order planning to prevent overstocking or product shortages.
Customer Assistance • Provide exceptional customer service, answering customer questions and resolving issues effectively.
Supervise and train store staff on effective sales techniques and customer service standards.
Promote loyalty programs and other promotional initiatives to encourage repeat sales and enhance the customer experience.
Sales and Promotions • Monitor store sales performance and contribute to the definition of sales goals and strategies.
Collaborate with the marketing team to implement promotional campaigns and special events in-store.
Analyze sales trends and customer feedback to propose improvements or changes to product and marketing strategies.
Reporting and Administration • Prepare regular sales reports and other management reports for supervisors.
Ensure that all financial transactions in the store are handled with integrity and transparency.
Maintain accurate documentation related to sales, returns, exchanges, and other commercial transactions.
Qualifications An Assistant Retail Manager must possess excellent communication, leadership, and time management skills, as well as a deep understanding of the fashion industry and the specific needs of customers for clothing, shoes, and luxury bags.
They must be able to work effectively in a dynamic environment, often under pressure, while maintaining a professional and customer-oriented attitude.
Education and Training • Degree in Business Management, Marketing, or Fashion: A university education in business management or fashion provides a solid theoretical foundation necessary to understand the complex aspects of fashion retail.
• Specific Training in Retail: Specialization courses or certifications in retail management, store management, or visual merchandising can be particularly useful.
Experience • Experience in the Retail Sector: It is essential to have prior experience in the retail sector, ideally in the fashion segment, which includes clothing, shoes, and bags.
Experience should include roles that involve personnel management, customer service, and inventory control.
• Leadership Skills: Experience in managing teams, including training staff and supervising the daily operations of a store.
Technical Skills • Visual Merchandising Skills: Ability to organize and present merchandise in a way that maximizes sales and reflects the brand image.
Inventory Management: Competence in managing inventory, including purchasing planning, stock management, and logistics optimization.
Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze sales data and performance indicators to guide operational and strategic decisions.
