Sr. Shared Services Operations Specialist

This role is fully remote, but candidate must live in Georgia State, Florence, SC or Springfield, OH to be considered. Overview of the position: This job is responsible for processing and researching loan items to include processing checks and performing monetary transactions. Also responsible for corresponding with customers, clients and agents via phone and email.

Primary duties: Responsible for performing job requirements including processing checks, payments, maintenance, basic analysis or research.
May perform monetary functional transactions such as posting deposits to client servicing system, processing premium payments, updating insurance data, balancing and sending wire disbursements, or transmitting stop pay requests directly to financial institution bank accounts.
Responsible for performing analysis on and resolving issues related to disbursements through review of system transactions, checks, reports, phone or written inquiries.
Uses computerized system for tracking, information gathering and / or trouble shooting the items raised by the client / insurance company / customer.
Work in multi-functional areas with multiple clients
Has the knowledge and ability to handle and complete more detailed and complex analysis/research for loans
Responsible for working any escalated issues and transactions that require more specialized knowledge and skill set
Serves as a backup for the Team Lead in regards to assignment of work and escalated work
Assists with training Shared Services Specialists on specific processes.

This is a full-time position. Schedule that is being hired is Monday through Friday from 7:00 a.m to 4:00 p.m EST. Basic Qualifications:
High School diploma or GED Positive attitude/desire to learn Good organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines. Basic knowledge of computers and proficiency with Microsoft office including Excel and PowerPoint Data Entry/document processing experience Good oral and written communication skills and professional etiquette
