**Business Development Executive, Biologics**:
Full time: Internal/External
Position Summary:
**Responsibilities**:
- New Business Development including identifying new molecule opportunities with new or existing clients through understanding of the market, appointment based strategic selling, using personal network, interaction with other PSG and Thermo Fisher teams and following up on leads
- Creating and implementing sales programs for new prospective clients to increase awareness of our service offering and key differentiators from our competition
- Ability to analyze and understand funding mechanisms and sources and flow of funding for the small emerging biotech element of the territory
- Attends tradeshows/ conferences/ seminars to increase awareness of our broader capabilities and as a source of lead generation
- Identifying and communicating our value proposition, including opportunities for strategic bundling of our services.
- Leads the ongoing relationship with existing clients
- Enables winning quotations and has a key role to play in the contract negotiation phase.
- Handles, updates, maintains and records all relevant activities in the SFDC database, and shares information and background on prospective clients within the territory to our partners

**Responsibilities**:
- Perform/assist with market analysis and special projects as required
- Education: Bachelor's degree required in a related field, such as micro-biology, cellular biology, chemical engineering, and chemistry.
Process Development/Commercial manufacturing experience in biologics is preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years' experience performing and/or selling biologics, including but not limited to selling vaccines, blood, or blood components, allergenics, somatic cells, gene therapies, tissues, recombinant therapeutic protein, and living cells used in cell therapy required
Competencies:
- Professional presentation skills and ability to network within senior management ranks.
- Experience working with Strategic Accounts in the Biopharmaceutical space is a highly desired
- Work within a matrix environment both with clients and internally at Thermo Fisher Scientific
- Dynamic and highly self-motivated individual
- Ability to establish a functional, home office environment to effectively manage assigned responsibilities
- Possesses excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the proven track record to communicate internally and externally across many functions.
- Demonstrated success in business development and sales within Europe.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office products such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
- Outstanding interpersonal and time leadership skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Travel ~50%
