**Job description**:
- Planning & Scheduling support for medium and large capital projects (approximate TIC ranges between
2 MM$ and 20 MM$).
**Schedule development includes**: Supporting the Engineering, Procurement, Construction and project controls departments on planning, discipline work alignment (activities, resources and durations) and finding the optimum sequence for scheduling multiple phases of engineering (PRE-FEED, FEED and
Detailed Engineering) and construction to fulfill the project objectives (schedule baseline, manpower requirements-resource loading)
- Schedule Control: providing timely updates reflecting current/forecast progress, dates and analysis of criticality, MH consumption and suggested corrective/mitigation actions to keep the project on track
- Evaluating change proposals to quantify schedule impact and timely incorporating them to the current
plan
- Provide Planning and Scheduling guidance to Engineering and management in terms of project's current and forecast situations
**Essentials**:
- 10 to 15 years of experience on capital project scheduling.
Capital projects experience includes hands on development and control of schedules during engineering PRE-FEED, FEED and project EXECUTION
(Detail Engineering and Construction)
- At least 10 years of hands on experience on Primavera P6 (medium to advanced user), including resource loading, comparing multiple baselines and providing concise reporting in terms of current schedule, critical path, look ahead filtering and total float analysis
**Would be considered a plus**:
- Previous experience working on project controls/planning & scheduling for major Engineering companies
- Experience leading interactive planning sessions
- PMI/AACE management/scheduling certifications
- Experience on a structured approach for planning and scheduling, which typically includes interpreting Engineering documents and creating documents like: schedule basis, scheduling requirements for contractors, schedule integrity checks and various schedule key performance indicators
