Sr. Project Engineer - Platform JOB SUMMARY This position reports to the Engineering Director Gold Harvesting Breganze and will serve in a team of engineers responsible for Combines Mechanical development at AGCO's Breganze (Italy) Site and among all Combine Harvesters sites.
The person will lead and is responsible globally for the platform development with the technical team and cross functional teams (Manufacturing, Purchasing, Quality etc).
The job holder leads and coordinates global module teams, following and monitoring the development of the activity.

the incumbent will be leading projects and not people.
The job holder has strong influence on the strategical roadmap of product developments and is a key interface between the involved functions, showing competence to finding new solutions.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES Leads/coordinates platform development activities, drives module-specific innovation, ensures best cost together with Purchasing and Manufacturing counterparts Project plans according to AGCO's procedures called AMPIP Collaborates across to otherAGCO sites for engineering, manufacturing, quality, purchasing Participates in meetings for planning, idea generation, design review Guarantees the respect of time, cost, performance, weight and durability Defines project objectives and key collaborations within the strategical engineering roadmap Manages comprehensive project requirements and proposes solutions QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor degree in Mechanical Engineering +5 years of professional experience with mechanical design for agricultural machinery Some practical experience with combine harvesters is a strong plus Strong technical knowledge and previous experience as team leader Good skills at working with one or more ERPs systems (i.e SAP, BAAN, JDE) Proficiency on Creo or similar software, MS Office Fluent English THE ROLE REQUIRES Leadership and teamwork skills Good verbal and written communication skills to convey ideas, asking for guidance, present potential issues, discover and propose resolutions Ability to address and resolve issues in an objective, fact-based, professional fashion Ability to inspire confidence in project sponsors, owners and participants
