Team Overview and Job ResponsibilitiesWe are looking for a Senior Process Engineer, who will report to the Process and Continuous Improvement manager and will be based in Milan HQ, Italy.You will drive process standardization for high voltage power cable productions across various factories.
Travel in plants is expected for about 60/70%.Who are we looking for?You will drive process standardization of submarine and land High Voltage power cables production areas within all the factories linked to the BU Transmission.Analyze existing HV production processes on field and develop recommendations for changes to working methods or operation sequences that will increase yields and productivity; and improve the quality and consistency of final products; minimize risks, costs, and wastage.You will act as a technical reference point for plant strategic high voltage production activities and issues that require a particular know-how.Coordinate with corporate functions (R&D, Engineering, etc.)
and local functions in factories in case of new products or new lines to be used.
Setting up and leading an industrialization roadmap when needed.You will assist in the commissioning/prototyping/industrialization phase on site.Analyze existing manufacturing KPIs; collect manufacturing data and develop additional manufacturing KPIs.You will spread Continuous Improvement culture and projects within all the factories linked to the BU Transmission with the goal of standardization and increasing efficiency.
Ensure lessons learned and best practice collection, sharing, and implementation.In the tender phase, support risk analysis and evaluation of mitigation actions based on the best practice and lessons learned in the execution of similar projects.You will assist the Quality team in the Root Cause Analysis process.Key Requirements:Solid experience in Operations with focus and expertise on high voltage power cables.Extensive technical knowledge on plastic related extrusion technology.Strong analytical skills and capacity to analyze Industrial KPIs.Experience in a factory environment with preference for process related roles.Knowledge about Continuous Improvement tools and methodologies.Engineering master degree (electrical, materials, mechanical or similar).Strong leadership, team player, open to different cultures.Analytical attitude, problem solver.Proficient in English, written and spoken; other languages will be a plus.Your application data will be treated according to our Data Protection Policy.
