**Sr Marketing Lead** Cardio and Nephro**

**What you will do**
**Job Focus**
Directly reporting to the Business Unit Director, in this role the Sr Marketing Lead contribute to plan, develop and implement comprehensive and innovative customer focused brand plans to ensure Amgen Business Unit achieves qualitative and quantitative goals for the assigned Brand/Therapeutic Area.
In this role he/she will Lead the marketing team representing the assignedbrand in Italy through effective Brand Cross Functional Team coordination and management.
**Key Dimensions**
- Drive the in-country development and execution of best in class customer strategies and tactics that meet business needs, in alignment with Global strategies.
- Develop a comprehensive omni-channel and omni-customer Brand Plan.
- Lead and coordinate the Cross-Functional Team (XFT) to deliver best in class brand plan including all relevant customers and channel use.
- Responsible for brand revenues and accountable for planning, spending and controlling assigned budget, propose resource allocation, develop a tailored brand communicational strategy, so as customer value propositions and solutions.
- Ensure seamless and flawless integration of Global strategies into country tactical plan of action playing as a key liaison between Country and Global Brand Team.
- Proactively share country needs and insights with Global Teams within the Global to Local model.
- Work closely with the BU Director in the definition of the marketing strategy for the assigned therapeutic area
- Lead and coach her/his team in order to achieve business goals; promote people development through structured plans in accordance with Amgen processes
**Resource Allocation**
Accountable for the development and execution of the brand plan.
Demonstrate compliant use of financial systems and processes.
Accountable for planning, spending and controlling local budget as agreed for brand plan.
Accountable of forecasting approach for Brand plan, long range forecasts (LRS) and LE submissions.
**Customer**
Develop tailored and customer focused strategies/initiatives for assigned therapeutic area.
Seek and develop customer and market insights through direct customer contacts and frequent relationships with field force.
Liaise with key stakeholders to gather deep customer needs and insights and turn them into solid customer plans/solutions.
Drive the ideation and execution of innovative value-based solutions which meet customer needs and marketplace insights.
Develop customized value propositions, stakeholder mapping, segmentation analysis to exploit full product attributes according with different targets.
**Access**
Shape the environment for a successful and sustainable brand value through the execution of a comprehensive stakeholders engagement plan.
Work closely with market access colleagues to build a strong value proposition for relevant stakeholders.
**Team Leadership/Culture**
Lead and coordinate the Marketing team for the assigned products and XFT colleagues to build an engaged and motivated Team, working together for the same objectives.
Ensure full compliance and regulatory approval for all materials and initiatives developed.
Demonstrate One Amgen culture on a day by day basis and lead the XFT in line with this culture.
Engage its own XFT and encourage others to behave in this manner.
Encourage all functions to behave according to Amgen Values and Leadership Attributes.

**Qualifications**
**Minimum** Requirements**
- Scientific or Economics University Degree
- At least 5 years' experience in Marketing roles in a matrix environment mostly with specialist/hospital brands
- People management experience
- Strategic & Analytical skills
- Positive "can do attitude" with self-motivation, energy and drive
- Strong communication skills and presentation skills
- Good level of Business English and fluent Italian
- Advanced level of Microsoft Office package
- Available to frequent business national and international travelling
- Leadership skills with key internal and external stakeholders
- Influencing skills
- Financial skills
**Preferred Requirements**
- Knowledge and experience of cardiovascular therapeutic area
- Field experience in a customer facing role
