Sr. Manager, WorkplaceJob Location: ChicagoWant to make an impact?The Sr. Manager, Workplace will develop and manage a best-in-class program to enhance our customer and employee experience throughout our growing network of office and manufacturing facilities. The leader will be responsible for the direction, organization, and coordination of office operations, procedures, and resources to facilitate organizational effectiveness and efficiency. The leader will be an ambassador for employee engagement and will collaborate with all levels of leadership within the organization.
This position will be based in Chicago, IL.
Ways you will make a differenceManages and develops direct staffEstablishes standards and procedures of office operation and interaction that deliver high levels of customer service for employees and customers across the network of facilitiesInitiates, plans, organizes, and promotes company events that foster engagement and align to the Company's mission and vision.Manage and coordinate vendor relationships related to the day-to-day activities of the office for the following: Building Management, Utilities, Suppliers, Shipping, etc.Maintain appropriate office servicesMaintain office efficiency by planning and supporting modular planning and layout, samples acquisition office systems, layouts, and equipment procurementDesigns and implements office policies by establishing standards and procedures; measuring results against standards; making necessary adjustmentsMaintain a high level of customer satisfaction while ensuring the staff have the resources they need to achieve their goalsCreate a program that is forward looking to ensure that the needs of our employees are being met proactivelySupport change management initiatives as a member of the broader HR functionAct as an ambassador of the Company's core valuesSkills that will make you successfulOutstanding written and oral communication skillsProven ability to initiate, manage, and implement change in a growing organizationAbility to drive change with cross-functional team membersResourceful problem solver with high attention to detail and accuracyTeam building and performance managementExperiences that will support your successBachelor's Degree required5+ years of relevant professional experience with corporate facility managementExperience in large and/or multi-site facility operationsPrior construction and/or facility renovation experienceOversight or lead role in office construction, office relocations, and lease managementPrior success in leading high performing teams strongly preferredGeneral operations experience that includes proficiency in vendor management as well as HR, compliance, and security matters.EQUAL OPPORTUNITYWe are proud to be an equal opportunity employer.
