**Position Summary**:
This position reports to Senior Director, Global Finance Huber AgroSolutions, located in Atlanta USA and is the financial business partner for two GMs, GM EMEA/APAC and GM ILSA S.p.A.
The role leads the financial processes of these business units to ensure that Business Managers and BU Commercial Leadership have clear visibility of its P&L performance, balance sheet, working capital, cost structure, and KPI's and supports the business team in decision making.
Responsible for the analysis of margins, pricing, costing, budgets/forecast and proactively supporting the BU in strategy and investment decisions.
In addition, a key component of the role includes process improvement and implementing data analysis automation.
**Main Responsibilities**:
- Serve as the main finance contact for the respective businesses.
- Monitor business and economic trends and partner with the business to plan for anticipated business changes.
- Partner with Product Management to provide analysis for pricing changes based on macro and micro economic forecasts.
- Support the month-end close process for the business unit and the region as required.
- Prepare and communicate financial results in an engaging manner to various levels of management.
- Prepare and coordinate the monthly finance forecast and annual budget and present financial information to the business and regional management.
- Work cross functional with Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain and Site Operations to develop, validate and improve product/customer profitability.
- Prepare ad hoc financial modeling and analysis to support the business unit/regional financial goals.
- Seek out and implement process improvements and automation to enhance consistency and reduce complexity across the financial and non-financial environment.
- Provide technical expertise and guidance for both internal policies and external reporting requirements (IFRS & GAAP) as necessary.
**Requirements & Qualifications**:
- Degree in Accounting, Finance or Economics
- 10+ years of progressive financial experience, including but not limited to financial planning and analysis, costing, general ledger, auditing, manufacturing, and sales & marketing type company - Chemical and/or Agriculture Industry preferred
- Experience with segment reporting and profit center controlling / accounting
- Controlling experience in a manufacturing business environment
- Demonstrated experience with cost accounting/reporting, IFRS/GAAP, Supply Chain
- Team leadership experience
- Expertise in ERP systems, and a good understanding of the integration with other modules
- Knowledge of BI/Business Objects, Essbase, Tableau, or other reporting tools
- Fluency in Italian and English required.
