As a Senior Consultant, you are tasked with leading climate and carbon reduction strategy projects, supporting client reporting initiatives, LCA, EPD and PCF, GHG emission inventories, with specific experience with scope 3 emission quantifications and reduction strategy development experience goal and target setting, and helping our client base align on appropriate reporting frameworks.
You will be expected to manage the delivery of multiple projects on time and budget, coordinate day-to-day project activities, and act as a primary client liaison You could be managing several projects at any one time, each with their own project teams You will be responsible for managing client expectations and optimize value through projects to drive continuous, strategic improvement.
You will support the client in gathering data and information, shaping actionable accounting systems, and identifying key insights from scope 3 inventories addressing different aspects of the value chain (e.g., suppliers, customers, employees, etc.)
You will be coaching clients on the evolving landscape of scope 3 emissions management and guiding them through the development of climate action plans You will be contributing to and developing proposals for potential clients and projects.
You will collaborate with the regional and global colleagues to develop new tools and solutions that further enhance Sphera's offerings on sustainability consulting.
Provide technical leadership and support to junior team members Manage multiple projects independently with minimal supervision to meet tight deadlines.
Qualifications 5 + years' experience as a sustainability practitioner, focused on corporate carbon management Demonstrated experience with LCA and scope 3 emissions accounting Demonstrated project management experience Excellent communication and consulting skills Comfortable and confident liaising with key stakeholders across various levels Effective time management and organizational skills.
Ability to respond positively to pressure and take a flexible approach to a dynamic, fast moving and changing work environment Able to work on virtual teams across different time zones Primary workstreams include LCA and scope 1/2/3 GHG emissions inventories and reduction strategy development, support on a variety of ESG reporting initiatives, including SBTi Net Zero, GRI, SASB, and TCFD may occur.
