Your role and responsibilities As HR Generalist, you will be responsible for day-to-day HR transactions for one or several assigned service lines (Employee Life Cycle, Onboarding, Payroll, and People Analytics), while managing complex and escalated tasks, in Electrification Service in Florence, SC (#LI-Onsite) and US Service organization, ensuring accurate and timely processing of information of all stakeholders and assures quality controls are carried out. You will partner with our EL Service business to attract, develop, and retain the appropriate workforce to effectively implement our business strategy. In this role you will ensure data integrity in Workday and HRGT through regular audits, and communication with key stakeholders and submission of tickets when data changes are required.Partner and support managers, supervisors, and employees at the Florence, SC facility to understand current issues that can be supported or resolved through HR practices, processes, or policies.Perform talent partner activities for all hourly roles and hourly onboarding, support other recruitment initiatives involving all salaried positions for the Florence, SC facility and US Service Organization. Streamline and facilitate the onboarding process in partnership with the hiring manager, HRBP, talent partners to enhance the overall employee experience.Executes and delivers in assigned areas of responsibility in Workday and other HR tools. Supports Service HRBPs in Workday and IS actions at the time of position set up, offer and during the onboarding process.Serve as an employee advocate and conduct investigations of allegations as needed in adherence to ABB policies and instructions.Training and communication to employees and managers regarding HR services, HR strategy, policy, and processes.Provide managers and supervisors with coaching and guidance regarding onboarding new employees, disciplinary process, and the separation process in partnership with the Senior HR Business Partner. Qualifications for the role 8+ years of experience in HR, working in HR related roles with operations and process, preferably in a manufacturing facility, or a combination of a Bachelor's degree in business, from an accredited college or university with 2 years of relevant experience, or Associate's degree in Business with 4 years of relevant experience, or a High School diploma with 8 years of relevant experience. Knowledge of US Employment law and OFCCP requirements relevant to South Carolina and the US. Knowledge of Workday, SAP, Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint) Employee engagement; trainings, recognition, special themed days, etc. Candidates must already have work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US. #J-18808-Ljbffr
