J OB OVERVIEW:
Backcountry is looking for a skilled Senior Financial Analyst to join our team. The Senior Financial Analyst will have ownership over a division of the business and will be responsible for analyzing financial data and providing insights to support decision-making processes. The ideal candidate will develop and track key performance indicators, and identify trends and patterns that impact the company's overall financial health. The Senior Financial Analyst will have exposure to all levels of the organiza tion and must have strong communication skills.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Analyze financial data and create financial models to support decision-making processes
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for management and stakeholders
Develop and maintain financial forecasts and budgets
Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) and financial metrics
Identify trends and patterns in financial data and make recommendations for improvement
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop business strategies and plans
Participate in the development of financial policies, procedures, and best practices
Q UALIFICATIONS, SKILLS & ABILITIES:
Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or related field
Minimum of 2 years of experience in financial analysis, reporting, and modeling
Advanced Excel skills required; experience with financial analysis software preferred
Strong analytical and quantitative skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Proven ability to manage multiple projects and priorities #BTP #LI-RB1
