**The job**:
The **Sr Director, Project Management** is a key role within our Clinical Delivery Services Division (part Thermo Fisher Scientific's newly acquired PPD clinical research organization), providing strategic leadership and management in the direction and execution of the operations and resourcing for the business in a complex cross-functional environment. This includes developing and implementing strategies that ensure continuous process improvement and optimize organizational performance, processes, and associated systems, training and communications in order to achieve business goals and objectives. The role also provides advice and strategic guidance to staff and directs business strategy and operational efficiency.
The role is being offered as fully remote (working from home) based anywhere in **Europe or eastern timezone USA**. Some international travel may be required - up to 10% per annum - including overnight stays.
**What will you do?**
- Lead large, complex, cross-functional initiatives and teams
- Assist Executive Management with development of business roadmaps to support the organizational future state and alignment to department and company goals
- Act as a Champion for organizational changes and initiatives to support company objectives
- Provoke critical thinking and drives innovation in team related to execution of delivery, budget and quality and prioritization
- Assist in the development of group AOP - ensuring appropriate business approvals are obtained for projects
**Who we are looking for**:
- Extensive senior-level Project Management experience in a complex international organization, delivering change programmes
- A background in CRO, pharma, or life science industry, or business consultancy (working with similar clients) strongly preferred
- Expert knowledge of the key principles of cross functional project management (Time, Quality, Cost)
- Experience with Lean Six Sigma, Agile and Scrum methodologies
- Familiar with formal change management processes and methods (Prosci or similar approach)
- Skilled in process improvement and strategic development, especially as it applies to clinical trials, clinical development and project management
- Outstanding analytical, investigative and problem-solving skills, including complex evaluations of intangible variables
- Accomplished executive presence, consultation and presentation skills
- Expert negotiation and relationship building skills with ability to influence others and get results
- Consistent track record driving corporate strategies that capture, engage and retain repeat customers
- Advanced level of English

**Compensation and Benefits**
The salary range estimated for this position based in Ireland is €136,500.00-€204,750.00.
