This position will be driving the Medical Affairs Clinical Development (MACD) Program to new Regions worldwide. The main goal will be to identify specific needs in these regions and develop accordingly new courses to address these with trainings. To be successful, it will be vital to build relationships with key training partners as well as with internal stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
Identifying training needs for the Clinical Development Program. Establishing and maintaining relationships with key training partners. Establishing new MACD courses to address identified training needs. Contracting and compliance support for new and existing training programs/courses. Curriculum and material development for new courses, including development of MACD VarianThink platform to host training materials and facilitate course delivery. Training of course facilitators. Facilitate successful delivery of clinical radiotherapy courses. Maintenance and development of the MACD VarianThink platform. Eclipse training database access and administration support. Technical support for Medical Affairs Academic Hub. Active participation and presentations for national and international conferences in the region. One-on-one Eclipse support on request for customers in the region addressing clinical questions and queries. Support Medical Science Liaisons in the region with research projects. Requirements:
Advanced Degree in Clinical Medical Physics (minimum: MSc; preferred: PhD). 10+ years clinical experience in Radiotherapy . Strong background in RT planning on Eclipse. Strong background on clinical RT delivery and quality assurance. Strong background in clinical commissioning of linear accelerators. Experience in clinical education including curriculum design. Strong people and relationships management skills. Strong written and verbal communication skills (English, additional languages would be a plus). Strong customer relationship skills. Extensive ability to analyze, organize information, develop solutions, and implement. Excellent presentation and follow-up skills. Well organized, self-motivated, Team and solutions oriented. Up to 20% travel expected (globally – occasionally including a weekend). Varian is required to comply with all local and applicable regulations that may be associated with vaccine requirements for certain roles.
