Sr. Business Development Mgr, Prime Business Development teamAmazon is seeking an innovative, results-oriented, customer-centric Strategic Programs & Account Management to join the Prime Business Development team in Japan.
The role is a hybrid of:

Strategic Account Management - working with Amazon's existing partners in the mobile and consumer ecosystems and managing the overall business relationship including developing new commercial opportunities across Amazon's portfolio;Program/Project Management – driving the success of ongoing collaboration initiatives with the Partner.We expect this leader to operate at all levels both strategically and tactically. The key mission of the position is to ensure continuous improvement on the Customer Experience, business objectives and partner relationships, while creating new growth impactful accounts for Amazon Prime as business development.

This role will be responsible for executing and managing complex, high-impact partnership programs including third-party Prime deals. You will leverage strong commercial and account/program management skills, and understanding of e-commerce, marketing, to set up processes to deepen innovative partnerships.

This role will be highly visible at senior levels of Amazon both in Japan and the US. You will work closely with partner companies to execute strategies that expand Amazon's business with its partners, maintaining the programs and other business aspects of the partnership while identifying additional opportunities to achieve mutual goals.

Key job responsibilities: Execution and management of complex deals and programs spanning Amazon business units;Manage senior-level relationships with Amazon's partner companies;Define performance measures and manage programs to hit and exceed targets;Lead cross-functional teams to manage initiatives associated with partner companies;Coordinate with other Amazon business development teams to present a unified vision to our partners;Identify additional opportunities within existing partnerships at leading companies in Japan;Understand the business plans and priorities of various Amazon business units such as Prime, Retail categories, Video, Kindle, Music, and Echo/Alexa and be able to articulate Amazon's vision, services, and value propositions to customers and partners. Minimum Requirements: 5+ years of professional or military experience;Experience structuring and negotiating complex agreements and leading cross-functional groups to orchestrate and successfully complete deals;Experience with sales CRM tools such as Salesforce or similar software;Multiple business experience with Japanese companies using Japanese;Fluency in English;Experience influencing multiple stakeholders and leading cross-functional teams across geographies and business units;Experience working with technical and product stakeholders to define requirements, prioritize features, and influence product roadmaps.
