**Job Summary**
**General Responsibilities**:
- A pivotal role in the execution of the Data Strategy, within the overall Business Strategy of AMIG.
- Day-to-day operations of the Data Office are carried out professionally and in a manner that supports the business goals of the organization.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into data architecture solutions.
- Design and develop data models that align with industry best practices and organizational objectives.
- Partner with the Data Governance Lead and data stewards to create data governance policies, and data quality standards that align with industry best practices and organizational objectives.
- Work with IT teams to ensure seamless integration of data architecture solutions with existing systems and infrastructure.
- Develop and maintain data architecture diagrams, documentation, and metadata to ensure transparency and understanding across the organization.
- Conduct data analysis and profiling to identify trends, patterns, and insights that can inform business decisions.
- Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in data architecture and make recommendations for improvement.
- Collaborate with data stewards to ensure data security, privacy, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Work with data analysts and data scientists to ensure that data architecture solutions meet their needs and enable them to perform their jobs effectively.
- Provide guidance and support to junior data architects and other team members as needed.
**Requirements**:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of experience in data architecture, data warehousing, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of data architecture principles, data modeling techniques, and data governance best practices.
- Experience with data architecture tools and technologies such as PowerDesigner, AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, etc.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work with complex data sets and identify patterns and trends.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Power BI, Cognos etc.
is a plus.
- Certification in data architecture or a related field is a plus.
