Organization Overview:
The Sr.
Brand Manager Insulin is responsible for the Lilly insulin Franchise and Baqsimi.
Works closely with the Associate VP - Diabetes BU Leader, to provide input to the strategy, and is accountable for the performance of plans for the category and key brands.
The Sr.
Brand Manager plays a substantial role in the development and execution of the marketing plans to ensure alignment to the larger category and business objectives.
The Sr.
Brand Manager Insulins interacts with key stakeholder, suppliers, including agencies, and play a key role in the coordination of the cross-functional Team.
**Responsibilities**:
- Support the definition of strategic objectives and product marketing plans, in accordance with Associate VP - Diabetes BU Leader.
- Ensure the consistency between expenses and product budget
- Plan and implement materials, tools and promotion services
- Manage communication while preparing materials and programs consistent with marketing plan and product strategic objectives
- Follow up the correct implementation of programs and communication within the marketing plan
- Share with Sales Force the achievement of sales and profit objectives in coordination with Associate VP - Diabetes BU
- Analyze the market in order to identify growth opportunities/issues
- Analyze with Associate VP - Diabetes BU the main output from market research
- Contribute to analyze and develop specific message to manage competition
- Partecipate in the preparation of the product/s business plan
- Maintain contacts with Opinion Leaders and Opinion Makers
- Build and maintain effective contacts with Corporate Marketing and other Affiliates Marketing
- Develop, define and implements projects and task in respect of GPP guidelines
- Coordinate the Cross Functional Brand Team (Sales Force, Patient Access, Regulatory, Medical, etc.)
in order to guarantee the appropriate support to the product
- Keep the supervisor informed about his/her activity and potential business opportunities
RELATIONSHIP (internal & external)
- All the above with particular focus with internal networking (medical, patient access, compliance/legal, PRA, finance, etcc ) and International Business unit (ITAL and IBL) and Global Marketing, Medical and PRA network
- National Thought leaders
- Third parties (scientific societies, patient advocacy groups, all job related providers)
Basic Requirements:
- Degree level either life science or business qualification.
MBA or professional marketing qualification is a plus
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills (including English—written and verbal at least at full B2 level).
- Empathy and passion for the human health business
- Demonstrable passion for marketing
- Positive attitude and fit with Lilly cultural pillars and TEAM Lilly mindset
- Demonstrated experience and/or openness in working effectively with teams and various functional areas such as market research, marketing services, finance, customer service, and business development
