Innovative Medicine Supply Chain (IMSC) is the global J&J organization responsible for supplying medicines to markets around the world. Within IMSC, Master Data is part of Planning, Customer Management, and Deliver. Master Data is the foundational information at the core of enabling the Plan – Source – Make – Deliver – Quality – Finance processes within our E2E supply chain. Timely, accurate and high-quality master data is key to support on time product launches. The IMSC Master Data Management team is looking with passion for how a supply chain is enabled by Master Data.
The Senior Analyst is responsible for monitoring and completing day-to-day pharmaceutical data operations supporting the strategy of the function across franchises/business units. They will facilitate and/or support launches and business projects. They are also responsible for developing solutions to a variety of problems of moderate to intricate scope and complexity, while referring to established policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities: Implement tools and processes that improve execution and quality of data; may include coordination of system testing, error handling, data conversion and/or validation, audit/compliance actions (Corrective Action/Preventive Action (CAPA)).
Provide tactical direction to third-party team(s).
Engage with business partners on tactical matters as Data Governance Lead for a specific workstream or functional area.
Support change assessments and/or project prioritization requirements, point of escalation for both internal and external team members, strategic launches, and regulatory activities.
Facilitate continuous improvement of existing data design, process, and templates by tactically focusing on business outcomes.
Prepare metrics, dashboards, and tracking to facilitate the efficient operations of the department.
Participate in, and sometimes lead, operational and governance meetings which may include end-to-end, value bring together, and third-party reviews.
Collaborate to create and maintain documentation for area of responsibility. May include Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Work Instructions (WIs), protocols, data quality catalogs, and other policy and procedure documents.
Develop and deliver training to educate partners on detailed procedures, data flows, etc.
Qualifications Education: Minimum of a Bachelor's/University or equivalent degree required; degree focus in Supply Chain or equivalent field of study preferred.
Experience and Skills: Required:
Minimum 2 years of relevant work experience.
Experience within Supply Chain.
Data management experience in the context of large ERP platforms (such as Atlas/ Sustain/Europe2/B2B or equivalent).
Business and/or technical knowledge in SAP.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, Word).
Strong written, oral, and presentation skills to contribute on a diverse, multicultural team; ability to build strong collaborative relationships, influence multiple partners, and establish common goals and objectives without sacrificing outcomes.
Excellent organizational and prioritization skills to optimally manage multiple initiatives within timelines, in an environment where priorities change rapidly.
Preferred: Solid understanding and systems knowledge of OMP, TruVault or equivalent Documentation system, and/or TrackWise.
Familiar with sIDMa workflow Tool.
Pharmaceutical industry experience.
Other: Requires fluency in English (speak/read/write).
May require up to 5% of domestic and international travel.
Requires the ability, through our flexible work policy, to work on-site a minimum of three days each week, with the option for two remote workdays each week.
