The activity of NAS domain: avionics, navigation and radar systems for civil air traffic and technologies supporting the activities of civilian and military pilots, ATC controllers and technicians of several airlines, air traffic control agencies and Air Force around the world. Italy is the Group's Competence center for the design, production and delivery of Navigation Aids products and Competence Centre for the delivery of non-Radar Surveillance Products. Main tasks:
- Manages scheduling and delivery of spare parts and of customer repairs. - Executes Service Level Agreements
Detailed tasks description and responsibilities
- The Spares and repairs manager reports to the Head of Operative Service.
- He/she leads a small team.
- Is accountable for S&R quotation and deliveries to customers in the domain of Airspace Mobility Solutions (NAVAIDS and Non-Radar Surveillance) with sales, costs, cash and quality responsibility.
- is accountable for updating the price list for Spares and Repairs.
- Is accountable for keeping the internal buffer stock up-to-date in size and type. - Ensures customer satisfaction and maintain Thales processes.
- monitors performances through relevant financial and efficiency indicators
- Performs Risk Analysis related to his/her area of responsibility.
- Has full international exposure, managing worldwide customers
- Proactively reply to customer queries in no more than 48 hours.
- Tasks and responsibilities are among others:
o Ensuring all necessary planning, execution and acceptance throughout the execution of the Service Level Agreement.
o Representing Thales interests within the assigned area of responsibility o Analysis of the Service Level Agreement content and implementation in delivery and service packages
o Monitoring and update overdue, sales, sales forecast costs and time schedules
o Creating and maintaining project documentation using Thales internal process instructions and tools
o Executing lessons learned corresponding feedback to the team and other departments o Participating in offers, create schedules, costs and risk assessments
o Driving Change Order Management and "upselling" in running contracts in close cooperation with the Project Managers, Legal & Contracts and Sales community.
Education:
- Engineering degree or equivalent certification
- Certification PMI/PMP project manager (or comparable).
Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience with focus on international business.
- Good knowledge of business administration, contract management and supplier management.
- Ability to stay cool under pressure
Skills:
- English is your daily business language.
- Knowledge of Italian, spoken and written, is a must.
- An additional language is appreciated.
- Ability to influence stakeholders
- Negotiation experience
- Microsoft Office expert Excellent written presentation and reporting writing skills.
- Independence and creativity in solving problems.
- Customer oriented
- Strength in dealing with international customers.
- Willingness to travel worldwide when required.
